I now run studio based day-long art classes; after visiting many schools, running previous classes in galleries and art shops, I have devised a unique workshop inspired by my own methods. The aim is to demonstrate a relaxed approach to painting, and for people of ALL abilities to come away with their own canvas painting, which hopefully they can enjoy & feel proud of.
The emphasis is on fun, and just having the opportunity to experience life in the studio and unleash your inner artist.
If you would like more information for class dates in 2013, please fill out the form on the contacts page of this website, stating your interest in the classes.

This painting was a challenge, not only due to it's sheer size, 120 x 120cm, but due to the fact the entire time I was working on it, a camera sat just over my shoulder on a tripod, automatically taking a photo of the whole process every 6 seconds. It felt a little bit like a whip constantly cracking away & I did work long days to try to get things done as quickly as possible!! 13 days is very quick for a piece this size normally!
The film can be viewed here on my YouTube channel ARTsarahgraham
The photographer behind it is Will Ferguson, who also kindly took the photo of 'Kaisers Rock' for me - he has far more knowledge of digital/mac stuff than I do - having studied photography, unlike me - so has been a huge help. Despite being (way) younger than me, is also very good at telling me what to do, and an absolute pro. For more info on Will & the film click below.
